Cluster bomb exhibit
|
An MCC photo exhibit on the use of cluster bombs around the world is available for education and advocacy events. This 16-panel exhibit features stories from Laos, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Lebanon, and includes take-home brochures with advocacy suggestions. The exhibit is very user friendly, as it sets up easily on tables in a variety of configurations, depending on the amount of space available. Each panel is 20" wide and 40" tall. Panels are set up in pairs, taking up around 30 inches of horizontal table space each. Churches, schools, and other civic groups may reserve the display by emailing exhibits [at] mcc [dot] org or contacting MCC U.S. at (717) 859-1151. Groups pay shipping and handling plus a $50. rental fee. Groups are urged to create an educational event, using the the DVD From Harm to Hope: Standing with Cluster Bomb Survivors.
The display describes how cluster munitions work, where they have been used, and how they have impacted individuals and communities. |
